The Kubota RTV-XG850 Sidekick is a high-speed
utility vehicle designed to bridge the gap
between heavy-duty work performance and
recreational trail riding. Engine: 851cc
liquid-cooled, 2-cylinder DOHC gasoline engine
producing 48 to 54 horsepower. Top Speed:
Reaches up to 40 mph (substantially faster than
traditional Kubota diesel models).
Transmission: Kubota CVT Plus with a
centrifugal clutch that keeps the double-cogged
belt tight for minimal slippage and immediate
throttle response.
Drive System: Selectable full-time 4WD with a
one-way sprag and centrifugal clutch for
engine-assisted deceleration down steep slopes.
